An impromptu raffle on Boxing Day raised £200 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities. This wonderful organization provides free local accomodation for the parents of patients at a number of children's hospitals around the country. We would encourage all our readers to visit their site and read some of the heart warming stories from some of parents who have benefitted from their services.

A quiz night was held on Thursday 30 March by the Bowls Club. All proceeds to be donated to the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
